As part of the university's internal quality assurance system, academic achievements will be measured and evaluated at three levels: institutional level (university), curricular level (faculty, graduate school, etc.), and subject level (classes and courses), based on the three policies: Diploma Policy, Curriculum Policy, and Admission Policy, as stipulated in Articles 3, 4, and 5 (St. Luke's International University Educational Policy Rules).ASSESSMENT POLICYBefore and Immediately After AdmissionWhile EnrolledAt GraduationUniversityLevelMaster's and doctoral degrees are awarded to those who have studied according to the curriculum designed to achieve the educational goals, have earned the prescribed credits, and have passed the thesis/dissertation screening and nal examination. (Completion of the course is not a requirement for the doctoral degree in some cases) (Master's: Graduate School Regulations Article 16, Degree Regulations Article 4; Doctorate: Graduate School Regulations Article 17, Degree Regulations Article 5)The master's degree will be awarded to those who satisfy the following criteria in the nal examination. (Examination Criteria for Final Examinations)1. Master’s Program – Thesis CourseThe student possesses the demeanor and qualities required of a nurse researcher.The student possesses the knowledge and education in their eld of expertise.The student wrote their graduation thesis in a methodic manner.The student can proactively present their research.2. Master’s Program: Advanced Practical CourseThe student has excellent professional competence as an advanced practitioner.The student is able to explain their research in relation to future practice.The student possesses the demeanor and qualities of a specialist.The student possesses a wide range of knowledge and education as an advanced practitioner.3. Doctoral Program – PhD CourseThe student possesses the demeanor and qualities required of a nurse researcher.The student possesses a wide range of knowledge and education as a nurse researcher.The student has taken sufcient time to write their graduation dissertation in an independent, methodic, and sustained manner.The student has presented their research results previously and is capable of continuing to do so going forward.The student has the potential to independently develop and continue their future research.4.
