The Graduate School of Public Health is a unique graduate school where doctors, public health nurses, and other medical professionals, as well as working professionals from pharmaceutical companies, government offices, educational institutions, and general companies, and international students from various countries, study together. Many of our students are already working, and about 60% of them continue to work at the same place after graduation, taking advantage of their studies at the graduate school to enhance their jobs, such as through leading clinical research or working in management. About 20% of our graduates have taken on the challenge of a career in another field.

In order to provide an opportunity for students to explore future career possibilities for MPH holders, we hold an annual career support seminars. Each seminar invites a lecturer who is active on the front lines of the public health field to talk about actual job descriptions, abilities required in the field, and what is important for career development. We also provide opportunities for students to explore for both internship and Applied Practical Experiences during the summer vacation period or in the further semesters to help them understand the contents of public health work.

This year, the seminar will be held for four consecutive weeks under the title of Career Path Week. All St. Luke's affiliated people are welcome to attend. We strongly encourage participants to attend seminars at venue to meet with the representative after the seminar, but an online option is also available. Please pre-register in advance so that we can keep track of the number of participants. Please see the program for the details. We look forward to seeing you there.
