In order to develop human resources who can contribute to the international community through the common language of nursing, the university provides a variety of opportunities to broaden students' horizons to the world. In addition to academic exchange through agreements with nursing and medical universities in various countries, we offer a variety of university-sponsored training and study abroad programs. On campus, students have opportunities to deepen their understanding of different cultures and to exchange ideas about nursing in Japan through this university’s hosting of short-term students from our partner universities and guests from overseas medical institutions.

Aiming for All Students to Participate in Overseas Study:
As part of the educational goals of the university, "to have an attitude of understanding and sympathy for people of all cultural backgrounds based on the spirit of Christian love" and "to cultivate an international perspective and contribute to the realization of a society where all people can enjoy health equally," the university places a strong emphasis on study abroad opportunities. We established a scholarship program (St. Luke's International University International Student Scholarship) to support students to participate in a study abroad program at least once during their studies.
