Scholarships of College of Nursing

This university employs various scholarship systems so that students can enjoy financial stability while concentrating on their studies and training to obtain high-level skills. Scholarships include loans, which have to be repaid (with interest or interest-free), and grants, which do not have to be repaid.

Outstanding students who experience financial difficulties in pursuing their studies. The university internally reviews applicants’ situation based on the JASSO criteria concerning the student’s academic record, the family’s financial situation, and the capacity for candidate students, and then makes a recommendation to JASSO.

Tokyo Metropolitan Scholarship Fund for Nursing, etc.

Students who wish to work in the nursing field (nurse, public health nurse, midwife) in the Tokyo metropolitan area in the future, and who experience financial difficulties in pursuing their studies.

○In case of “Category 1” loans, students are exempted from repayment on completion of the necessary procedures after 5 years of service at a designated facility in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Interest-free.

In case of a “Category 2” loan, the repayment period is the same as that for which the loan was received. Interest-free.

※It is possible to receive Category 1 and Category 2 loans at the same time.

St. Luke's International University Scholarship

Current students with excellent academic records who experience financial difficulties in pursuing their studies. Students are eligible from the 2nd year at this university and from the 2nd year of the bachelor’s degree course.

Undergraduate students who cannot afford tuition are eligible for this scholarship donated by the late Ms Michiko Ozawa in her will.

Students with an excellent academic record (average grade of ≥4.0) and an impeccable character, who experience difficulty to pay tuition (annual income ≤ \4 million). Students in their 1st year are eligible, and must be able to attend training sessions twice a year.
