How to Order Transcripts and Certificates

Current and former students can order transcripts or certificates directly at the university or by postal mail through the following procedures.

NOTES

- Certificates cannot be issued on the day of application, so please apply well in advance. Depending on the type of certificate, it may take three days to one week for your document to be ready.
- We do not accept applications by phone, email, or fax.
- If you live overseas, please contact us separately.

Revision of Certificate Issuance Fees
As of April 1, 2024, certificate issuance fees will be revised.
We sincerely appreciate your understanding.

*If you do not need the official seal of the university and only need the personal seal of the faculty member, you do not need to apply to the university. Please contact the faculty member in question directly.
 
 

Fees

Certificate in Japanese: 500 yen per copy
Certificate in English: 700 yen per copy (Transcript in English: 1,000 yen)

How to apply

At the university

Please fill out the certificate application form and submit it along with payment at the Academic and Student Affairs Office counter with proof of your identity (student ID, driver's license, passport, etc.).

Office Hours

Monday - Friday 8:00-18:00
Saturdays, and Summer, Winter, and Spring vacation periods 9:00-17:00
(The university is closed on Sundays, national holidays, Foundation Day, summer closed period, and New Year vacations.)
 
 

By postal mail

Please send the following documents (1)-(4).

  1. Completed application form
  2. Issuance fees

    Only postal money orders are accepted.

  3. Copy of a document showing the identity of the person named in the certificate (student ID, driver's license, passport, etc.)

    If applying by proxy, in addition to the above, the proxy's identification documents and letter of proxy are required.

  4. A self-addressed, stamped, 23.5 cm x 12 cm return envelope

    If sealing of each certificate in an envelope is required:
    110 JPY (up to 50g) for 1-4 copies
    140 JPY~ for 5 copies and over

    If sealing of each certificate in an envelope is NOT required:
    110 JPY (up to 50g) for 1-6 copies
    140 JPY~ for 7 copies and over
