- 2023/07 博士後期課程修了生のAliza KC Bhandariさんがネパール政府公認の非営利団体NRNA NCC Japanの副会長（任期：2023年-2025年）に選出されました。彼女は2021年より同法人の事務局として健康教育や啓発プログラム、健康相談、健康会議の開催などさまざまな公衆衛生啓発活動を行ってきました。
NRNA NCC Japan：世界中に住むネパール人ディアスポラ（Nepali Diaspora）およびネパール人の利益を保護することを目的として2003 年に設立されたネパール政府公認の非営利団体。日本を含む85 カ国に NCC（National Coordination Council）を置き、世界のほとんどの国でネットワークを拡大している。NRNA NCC Japan は、日本全国に住むネパール人の福祉の向上、人権の保護をミッションとして、12の都道府県に地域委員会を設置して活動している。

- 2021年11月 博士課程の学生であるThe-Phuong Nguyenは、ベトナムにおけるCOVID-19のDelta variantの可能性を予測する研究を行い、Journal of Global Health誌に発表しました。この研究により、ホーチミン市で実施された既存の公衆衛生対策は効果的であるものの、現在のCOVID-19の発生を抑制するには不十分であることが示唆されました。本研究では中低所得国であるベトナムが直面している資源上の制約を考慮し、医薬品と非医薬品の戦略からなる多面的な介入を推奨しています。
