The Open Campus was held on October 16, Sunday

Open Campus was held in-person for the first time in three years, while also being held online. Part I of the event was a symposium under the theme of Global Leadership for Solving Public Health Challenges. Using examples of global challenges highlighted by the pandemic experience, we discussed public health’s essential role as a discipline for sustaining the lives of people and solving global issues. We also discussed how international health has shifted from the previous structure in which developed countries supported low- and middle-income countries to one in which all countries on the planet are now working together to address common challenges; and we described the important role of health economics in selecting feasible policies under scarce resources, alongside the importance of fostering human resources to become leaders in these fields.
In part II of the event, an alumnus who is active in a non-profit organization that provides medical support in Nepal using ICT and a student who is conducting research on global health gave presentations on their activities. Following an overview of the school curriculum, a FAQ session was held to answer prospective students’ questions to ease any doubts or concerns of those who are considering taking the exam. Finally, individual consultations were held for those who attended in-person.

Thank you very much for your participation.

The recordings of the event are now available for a limited time, so please visit this web page as well.
