The path to ending AIDS: Mobilizing the city for Tokyo 2020
The path to ending AIDS: Mobilizing the city for Tokyo 2020
Joint UN program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) has announced the 90-90-90 targets for the year 2020, in support of the goal of ending AIDS by 2030. To support progress towards these targets many cities have embraced the ”Fast Track Cities” program. In 2020 Tokyo will be hosting the Olympics, and the eyes of the whole world will be on Tokyo. What should Tokyo do to achieve the 90-90-90 targets, and what will the legacy of the Olympics be? We invite you to this event to think about the legacy of the Olympics, and how it can catalyze action for HIV prevention in Japan and the region.
