St. Luke's GSPH participated in the first ASPPH Academic Regional Meeting in Asia

Three of our faculty members, Dr. Kevin Urayama, Dr. Mihye Lee, and Dr. Katharina Da Silva Lopes, attended the first Association of Schools & Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) Academic Regional Meeting in Asia held in Taiwan from September 23rd to 25th.
At the plenary session, Dr. Urayama gave a presentation entitled “Challenges in Academic Public Health Research: One Japanese Perspective” based on his experiences at the St. Luke’s GSPH. Participants of the meeting included leaders from around the world, especially from Asia and the Americas, attending with the common goal of sharing knowledge and discussing the future of the public health field.
