On October 22, 2024, Dean Nobuo Nishi attended the general meeting of the Asia Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) held in Busan, South Korea, and was presented with a membership certificate.
Purpose of joining the Asia Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH)
APACPH is currently an organization with 81 member institutions from 23 countries and regions, and in Japan, the University of Tokyo, Teikyo University Graduate School of Public Health, University of the Ryukyus and KAGAWA Nutrition University (Joshi Eiyo Daigaku) are members. Its main academic activities include holding an annual general meeting and publishing the Asia Pacific Journal of Public Health (IF: 2.5) eight times a year, making it a central organization in the field of public health in the Asia-Pacific region.
By joining APACPH, we hope to make our educational and research activities better known in the Asia-Pacific region, and by accepting more international students and researchers from the region, we hope to work towards creating a diverse educational and research environment.
