- 2023年11月 高橋（松本）エミリー講師とJAXA（宇宙航空研究開発機構）との共同研究がTropical Medicine and Healthに掲載されました。「Tropical Medicine and Health」はオープンアクセスジャーナルとして、熱帯地域における医学・健康科学領域およびグローバルヘルス領域全般の論文を掲載しています (Impact Factor: 4.5)。
この研究は、地球観測衛星データと疫学データを用いて、森林減少によるマラリアの分布への影響を分析し、ラオスのマラリア制圧に資する興味深い結果を得ました。地球温暖化が確実に進行する中、マラリアの分布拡大には、媒介蚊の生態に適した環境（森林等）を考慮する必要がある可能性が示唆されました。

- 2023年5月 高橋（松本）エミリー講師とJAXA（宇宙航空研究開発機構）との共同研究がOne Healthに掲載されました。One Healthは、ウイルス学、細菌学、寄生虫学、病理学、公衆衛生学などの専門家が集まり、種間および種内病原体伝播に関する国際的な査読付きオープンアクセスジャーナル(Impact Factor: 9)です。
地球観測衛星データと疫学データを用いて、降水量による住血吸虫症感染への影響を分析し、対策に資する興味深い結果を得ました。近年ラオスでは降水量が激増していることから、住血吸虫症等の水系感染症の増加が危惧されています。本研究によって、特に乾季の降水量が増加すると住血吸虫症患者数が増加していることが明らかとなり、この時期に集中的な感染予防対策が必要であることが提案されました。

- 2021/11 Zoie Wong准教授の研究チームは、COVID-19の重要な情報を一般の人々に提供するために、「Japan LIVE Dashboard」（https://covid-2019.live/）の開発も行いました。
このダッシュボードは3,000万回もアクセスされており、最近では「European Conference for Context Sensitive Health Informatics 2021」で「Best COVID-19 Paper Award」を受賞しました。さらにWong准教授はKeele大学のMichael Rigby名誉教授と共同で、COVID-19に対応して急速に規模を拡大したデジタルヘルスアプリケーションに関連するリスクを調査しました。この研究は、International Journal of Medical Informaticsに掲載され、次世代インフォマティクスの評価に新たな知見をもたらしました。また、この出版物は、国際医療情報学協会（IMIA）の医療情報学における技術評価と品質開発（Technical Assessment and Quality Development in Health Informatics）ワーキンググループの2021年の成果の一つとなっています。
