Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing

The field of Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing is involved in finding supportive methods and actually supporting the recovery of people with mental or psychological problems or disease, to help patients regain their humanity and normal life styles. Nurses in this field not only consider their supportive role from various perspectives, but also cooperate with many other professionals in a team centered around the patient with a mental problem to provide proper care and living support. Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurses do not only work in medical institutions, but are also dispatched to living environments in schools, working places, and the community.
We provide education and perform research with the aim of nurturing practicing nurses, educators and researchers who can make a contribution to improve the quality of Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing as well as mental health and welfare in general.
