2022年度学位授与式 公衆衛生学研究科長 祝辞(2023年3月10日)
公衆衛生学研究科長 高橋 理
On behalf of the Graduate School of Public Health faculty and staff, I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to you all, 2022 graduates, your family, and your friends. Today, you have reached a significant milestone in your academic journey, and I am honored to be standing here as your Dean, witnessing your achievements during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic allows us to look at old problems in our society in new ways. The role of public health has become more significant than ever, along with medicine and nursing worldwide. As you move forward, always remember that you are part of a larger community of public health professionals. And always remember that your alma mater will always be here to support and cheer you on.
As the Class of 2022, you have already begun this challenge through your learning, work, community service, and advocacy. I believe that you will continue to lead us toward a healthier and more equitable future. So, keep learning, keep growing with us, and never stop striving to make a difference in the world. Mother Teresa said, "We can do no great things, only small things with great love."
Congratulations again on your graduation. We all look forward to hearing about your future accomplishments. I wish you all the best in your continued success.
